Introduction is the first level in LittleBigPlanet. It introduces basic movements and gameplay as you move through animated credits and photos of the development team. You will also be introduced to Checkpoints, Emotions and animation. After completing this level, you gain access to your pod and The Gardens. Upon starting LittleBigPlanet (For the first time, with no game data), This level will automatically start after the Intro. This contains no Prize Bubbles. This is the only story level with Stephen Fry's commentary in it. This is also the name of a level in LittleBigPlanet 2.
Note: In the part where they show you how to dress up (LBP1), they will show you the player colors, and one of them is black, even though it doesn't exist. (It can as a glitch) But it was added in LittleBigPlanet 3.
These are the names of the Media Molecule development team shown in the level, ordered as you move through the level from left to right:

In LittleBigPlanet 2, the introduction commentary (by Stephen Fry) is dependant on whether you have imported your game data from the previous LittleBigPlanet or whether you have started and chosen not to import your LittleBigPlanet data. However, the level remains the same, featuring a composed remix using the music sequencer of Left Bank Two. The introdction features a more playful environment, suiting the promoted 'Games' feature in LittleBigPlanet 2. After the introduction, rather than being taken straight to your pod, you are taken to Da Vinci's Hideout, with a cutscene taking you to your pod. If you have imported your LittleBigPlanet data, your pod will look the same, if not even better. For some reason, it is classified as a cutscene even though it isn't.
The LittleBigPlanet 3 introduction takes place in the Prologue and is also commentated by Stephen Fry. It abruptly ends when the plays is sucked into a vortex created by Newton, and are brought to the world of Bunkum. When the player completes the level, they automatically go the next level in the game instead of going to the pod, like LittleBigPlanet 2.
An easily passable series of sticker switches are located towards the end of the introduction level. The sticker that activates them (Chicken) is obtained by acing the final level in the game's "Adventure" mode. Once activated, these switches give 3 new materials and an audio object.
