The Hook Hat is a Sackpocket Powerup which can be used by Sackboy in LittleBigPlanet 3.

The Hook Hat allows you to connect to Bendy Rails while holding . Simply move using to go left and right, letting go of will result with the player slowly going to a stop, but if you are near a downwards slope, you may slowly move down there and gain momentum. If you want to disconnect yourself off of a Bendy Rail, simply let go of . To jump, simply press . This would also disconnect you off the bendy rail.

Appearance

Despite the name, the Hook Hat does not have a hook, it uses electricity to cling onto Bendy Rails. It also takes form of a motorbike helmet, rather than a proper hat.

Trivia

• When LittleBigPlanet 3 was first released, for several months the Hook Hat icon was broken in the Sackbot tweak menu, showing an icon of a grey box, that displayed text saying "FIX ME HOOK HAT". One day a Sumo Digital employee came in with the mentioned icon on a shirt, prompting Sumo Digital to release a "FIX ME HOOK HAT" T-Shirt DLC for Sackboy to wear.
